AMERICAN GLADIATORS IS BACK! The No-Holds-Barred hit competition series returns to prime-time television, with hosts Laila Ali and Hulk Hogan! Laila has said, “it’s an honor to be reintroducing this American classic to a new generation of fans.” In the new version of American Gladiators, eight new gladiators equally divided by gender will face everyday people in unique challenges. The series premiered Sunday, January 6, 2008 marking the first time Laila co-hosted a television series. The Second Season of American Gladiators premiered Monday, May 12, 2008. Laila Ali is the host of The N's "Student Body." The N’s "Student Body,” from Reveille, follows a group of teens as they attempt to change their own lives - from diet and exercise to volunteering and academics – as well as the lives of their friends and families. Taped in Decatur, Illinois, the show pits 12 kids from two rival high schools against each other. The teams are divided into two groups of six, one group representing one school. From there, the kids compete in challenges such as building a park or fixing up their high school. Throughout each show, teens will be eliminated, until there is a winning teen. The Winning school will receive $25,000, and the winning teen will also receive $25,000 to put toward their college education. While acting as the host of the show, Laila will also serve as a mentor to the teens, helping them along with each challenge, providing encouragement and motivation. This program presented by The N premiered July 11, 2008. 
Laila has been named a contributing correspondent for CBS' "THE EARLY SHOW." “Laila has one of the most unique skill sets that I’ve come across in broadcast news,” says Shelley Ross, Senior Executive Producer of the broadcast. “She has been a dedicated educator and author in areas of heath and fitness. She has a spiritual side, while being a fearless competitor. She's a great addition to the THE EARLY SHOW team.”
