My son Curtis Jr. (CJ) is 8 months! Wow, time has gone by so quickly! It seems like just a few months ago that I could carry him around the house perched on my shoulder supporting him with one hand. Now he sits on my hip like a big boy. I have to keep my eye on him at all times. CJ is crawling, standing and laughing as our dogs pass by him. Oh yes, he is very active and has lots of personality. He still doesn't sleep through the night so of course that means I don't either. Thank God my husband is so great as he shares the night shift with me. That's why I have been able to find extra energy to work out.
I only have 6 pounds to lose before I get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I decided that I wanted to start running again so I got a Baby Jogger Performance Series stroller from Goores.com. That was one of the best purchases I made as a mom. Now I am able to run when I want and take the baby along with me. He loves going for the ride and looking at all the scenery. Now I understand why many women quit their jobs to raise their children. As mothers, we just don't want anyone else raising our children. My love for CJ is so strong and I have such a sense of responsibility that it is hard to be away from him. But, I will save all the mommy talk for another time. Just wanted to give you all a quick update! I would post photos but I hate for them to end up all over the internet. So trust me, he is a CUTIE PIE!
